Twenty two pastors of The Highlands Presbytery took 48 hours for a Respite Retreat at Johnsonburg June 2 & 3. The Retreat, facilitated by Spiritual Director, Rev. Terry Chapman, was a time for pastors to pause, step back, and refresh after a difficult 15 months of pandemic life and ministry.  For many pastors this was the first opportunity since March 2020 to spend in person time with colleagues and friends.

Many of the pastors took the opportunity to spend time on the water, walk the labyrinth, read, and rest. After dinner many of the pastors took a Leap of Faith on the Johnsonburg Zip Line.
