As we move into becoming a new presbytery communication is critical. Here is a handy guide on the communication avenues for the presbytery.

Our webpage is very active and robust. All information is first posted on the webpage before it is distributed.
Announcements and Blogs
The newest information will be found under announcements
The Blog tab at the top of the page is the where to find the most recent posts and information.
Specific Post or Category
If you are looking for a specific post from previous weeks or looking for specific information about a particular subject click on the category and all post related to that category will be listed.
Constant Contact Email
Most of our email is sent to the Presbytery using Constant Contact. This platform allows us to be efficient and target information to a specific group, team, leadership, congregations or regions of the presbytery. Also this platform allows us to not be classified as spam or junk mail. If you receive an email that may not be of interest to you, please just delete. DO NOT UNSUBSCRIBE. When you unsubscribe you will not receive any emails. Also if you believe you should have received a constant contact information from the presbytery please check your categories or folders, especially gmail, it may have gotten dropped into folder or category.
Registrations for Events and ZOOM gatherings
We do a lot of online events that require registering. Please make sure you register as soon as possible. Sometimes there are deadlines. We will now be sending out registrations confirmations within a couple of days of your registration. If you think you have registered and did not get a confirmation within 48 hours please contact Sonja at office@highlandspresbyterynj.org.
ZOOM Video Conferencing
Until further notice all Presbytery events and meetings will be on ZOOM. We try not to make our ZOOM logins too public in order to avoid “zoom intruders”. Check any constant contact email or registeration confirmation email for zoom logins. Only on occasion will they be posted on the webpage. If you did not receive a ZOOM login and believed you should have please contact a presbytery staff person.
Facebook and Twitter
We do have both Facebook and Twitter accounts. Information is posted on Facebook on a regular basis. We are working on keeping Twitter up to date also. For pastors, we do have a “Pastors Forum Group” on Facebook that is very active.
Presbytery of Newton does have an Instagram account. At this time we are still developing it as a regular form of communication.
YouTube
The Presbytery YouTube Channel stores most of our videos. Not all videos are on the channel because of their original source. You can find our videos on the Video Archive Page of our website.
