Letter sent to Pastors and Clerks of Session

Dear Pastors and Clerks of Session,

An update on the New Jersey Presbyterian Insurance Partnership and the Brown and Brown Insurance Agency June 1 policy renewal.

Last week the Partnership met and set some parameters for Brown and Brown agency. They have been negotiating with a new underwriter. The Partnership will be meeting with the representatives of the underwriter and Brown and Brown agency next week.

What does this mean for you? We will have a new policy for the renewal date of June 1. More information will be available after the meeting this week.

Many of you received a communication from the Insurance Board within the last few days. We also received the email. At this moment we are planning on continuing with Brown and Brown for this renewal cycle. The New Jersey Presbyterian Insurance Partnership will be reviewing the Insurance Board and other options for the next renewal cycle.

If you are not with Brown and Brown and the NJ Presbyterian Insurance Partnership, you are not required to participate. This is more as information for you and an option should in the future you would like to explore this coverage.
