Amid a pandemic our lives are hectic, or lonely, or tumultuous, or all of the above.   Let us take a few moments or two to pause, take a deep breath and take in the beauty of the winter season.  God’s creation includes the winter season, that may not be lush with green and color, but has a beauty all to itself.

God of creation, we give thanks for the goodness of the earth that you made and sustain.  Our voices join  in praise with all creation: with the season that roars, the trees that clap their hands, and the birds that sing in joy.  We give thanks and praise for the beauty of all seasons.  By your Spirt awaken us, that we may see and hear your presence in the world around us.  Let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts. Amen.
