30 The apostles gathered around Jesus, and told him all that they had done and taught.
31 He said to them, “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.”
For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.
32 And they went away in the boat to a deserted place by themselves.
 Mark 6: 30 -32

The last 15 months has been hard.

Difficult.

Stressful.

Traumatic.

Soul draining.

You need a break. A breather from it all.

“Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while”

Invitation

You are invited to a Respite Retreat for Pastors. A short period of rest and relief from all the world has thrown at you for the last 15 months.

Come spend two full days at Johnsonburg to rest and give your spirit time to be quiet.

This will be a self-directed time to hike, walk the labyrinth, canoe or kayak, sleep, read or do crafts.

Prayer and worship times will be offered throughout the two days.

You can come just for the daytime or can stay overnight.

Retreat Leadership

The retreat will be mostly self-guided.

Rev. Terry Chapman, Spiritual Director, will lead worship, times of prayer and available for conversations. Terry is the author of Sabbath Pause: Seven Weeks of Daily Practices.
