COVID Delta Variant continues to disrupt the lives of so many people. Health care workers in Florida, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas and so many more are overwhelmed with the number of cases.  The Pandemic is not over.  Health Care workers are continuing to feel the impact of people not wearing masks and socially distancing. Let us do what we can to help those who care for the sick by not getting sick or spreading the virus. Wear a mask. Meet outside for worship. Socially distance when inside. Show that you care and are concern for those who care for us.

Let us pray for those health care workers who are working long hours to care for the sick and save the lives of many people.

God of compassion,
who in Jesus Christ healed the sick,
Bless all who continue your work of healing.
Enhance their skills, and deepen their understanding,
that through their ministry
those who suffer may be restored to fullness of health.
Strengthen those who work among the sick:
give them courage and confidence in everything they do.
Give them hope that their sacrifices are for the good of all.

We give thanks for those who are caring for those who are ill.
Grant them strength, rest, compassion and wisdom.
