2021 was a crazy, energizing, energy draining, and complicated year. Between COVID, vaccinations, Presbytery transition, family deaths, my own health and the other stuff that came along it was a challenging time.

I am deeply thankful to those who were there walking with me through the challenges.  I am especially thankful to the Presbytery staff – Sonja, Liz, Carl and Steve.  They made the journey so much easier.

I want to thank Steve Huston for spending a year with us and me. Because of him we were able to be productive and responsive. He took on some ambitious projects and was an energetic partner in our transition.

Steve had contracted to be with us just for 2021 and completed his work on December 31 as our Resourcing Staff.  He is now serving the Presbytery of the Northeast New Jersey as the Co-Leader/Resourcing Presbyter.

Thank you, Steve, for walking with the Presbytery of the Highlands in 2021. Blessings and Joy in your new ministry.
