Another mass shooting.
Another family wailing.
Another community crying.

More pain.
More tragedy, trauma and fear;
More violence, horror, destruction and death.

In our communities.
In our states.
In our nation.
In our world.

We are broken.
Heartsick, hurting and in need of healing.

Come, O God.
Hold us close.
Hela your people.
Help us bring peace.

Make us
Advocates,
Activists and
Agents of change,
Embodying our prayers
