Life Together in the Community of Faith: Standards of Ethical Conduct for Church Members, Employees and Volunteers, and Ordained Officers in the PC(U.S.A.)

Guidelines on our ethical “Life Together” have never been more necessary than today, in church and society. The Ethical Standards that the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) first adopted in 1998 will soon be released in an updated version, and its focus remains on the wide variety of persons who participate in the church.
Ethics are not only for church officers (ministers of Word and Sacrament, ruling elders, and deacons) to know and attend to, but for all of us who follow Christ. We are all accountable and called to hold each other accountable, and we can do so humbly, gently, and faithfully.
This series is the annual training for ordained officers, but all members, employees, and volunteers are welcome to attend. The sessions will be recorded for those unable to join us on Zoom.
