God of prophets and apostles,

you have chosen leaders to guide your people

in the way of Jesus Christ.

We thank you that in our day

you are still claiming us

for special work within the church.

As Craig Barth, Alec Jain, Robin Palmer Burton, and Rich Gelson

have accepted this unique opportunity to be commissioners,

and as Joe Martinoni, Stephen Choi, and Steve Shussett

have volunteered to assist in the Assembly’s inner workings,

we lift them and all in such service up in prayer.

Surrounded by affection and hope,

My may be blessed with wisdom, confident of your love,

and guided as faithful workers,
