Introduction
After 40 plus years the BOP is making significant changes to the Medical and Benefits plan of the PCUSA.
Starting in 2025 there will be three options for the Medical Plan

Covenant Package – any employee working 20 hours or more per week.
Transitional Pastor’s Participation Package – available to ministers who are in the Pastor Participation as of 12/31/2024.

COM Board of Pensions Team
We know that we cannot cover every situation in every church. The COM policy allows for exceptions to the 2025 BOP policy.
To receive an exemption pastor and representative of the session/congregation must meet with one of the COM BOP team.
They are available in facilitating a discussion about the options and what would work best for your particular situation. You may call on them whether you need and exemption or not.
