Preaching God’s Word in the World

Everyone has at least one good sermon in them —

and there are people eager to hear God’s Word through you!

Maybe your pastor is going on vacation, and you can’t find a supply preacher.

Or COVID means your pastor is suddenly sick — and it’s Saturday night!

What is your church going to do?

Preaching God’s Word in the World is a weekly class for any ruling elder who has thought they had a sermon in them. Or who thought, “That was a good sermon, but I heard something different.” Between short videos and readings, and classroom time on Zoom to ask your questions and test your ideas, you will learn the steps to write and preach your sermon. You might preach at your church if needed, and you might be led to preach your one sermon in another church or two.
