Prayer of Thanksgiving
God of all things, we bring our thankfulness for the season that is wedged in just before advent.
Let us not miss this season and take time to spend a moment naming those things we are thankful for each day.
The people who love us.
The food that sustains us.
The home that provides warmth.
The community that supports us.
The stories that connect us.
The compassion that motivates us.
The moments of peace that grounds us.
The faith that roots us.
The worship that gathers us.

Your love that embraces us.
May moments of thanksgiving spill over each and every day in a generous spirit and gratitude filled acts of sharing.
