For everything there is a season,…a time to weep and a time to laugh

Ecclesiastes 3

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance.

As we continue in this liminal season we recognize that there is a time for many things and often the time of tears and mourning has been set to the side so that we may deal with the other pressing issues of the day.

As part of our October Presbytery meeting we will take time to recognize that the last seven months has been a time of loss, tears and mourning. During our worship experience, Pastor Dale Selover, director of The House Next Door, spiritual director and retreat leader, will lead us through liturgy, reflection and storytelling.

In addition to her work at The House Next Door, Pastor Selover is on the teaching staff of Oasis Ministries for Spiritual Development and serves as the Pastor to Pastors of Monmouth Presbytery.  Pastor Selover is an ordained pastor with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America for over thirty years.

The Presbytery Meeting is October 20 starting at 7 pm. Registration is required.
