Position Available for Transitional Support and Resourcing Staff – 20 hours per week –

The position is for one year beginning January 2021. The purpose of the position is to provide support for the soon to be formed Northwest New Jersey Presbytery and the work of its teams, committees and staff during the NJ Missional Structure Transition.

The Transitional Support staff person will be responsible for the following areas within the life of the Presbytery and is accountable to the head of staff as delineated in the Personnel Policy.

  • Staff and resource a Presbyterian Disaster Assistance team
  • Resource the Missional Ministry Team/Congregational Discernment
  • Resource the Committee on Preparation for Ministry – CPM
  • Provide Resourcing to teams, pastors and congregations as requested for the following areas
    • Stewardship/financial
    • COVID/Pandemic
    • Faith Formation
    • Congregational development
    • Missional Practices
  • Resource staff, administrative commissions and church leaders on congregational dissolutions and property/assets issues.
  • Assist the Presbytery Leader with the work of the presbytery as requested.
