How You Can Participate in Souper Bowl of Caring this Year

Dear Friend of Souper Bowl of Caring,

Since this year is different, Souper Bowl of Caring understands that many groups are having a difficult time figuring out how to help tackle hunger. But the need is SO great this year with over 14 billion meals needed to feed food-insecure neighbors in our country! Consider a few options as you plan the next few weeks:

1. Host a virtual donation drive for your local food charity. We can set that up for you through the new Tackle Hunger Map. Just send alison@souperbowl.org the name of your group and of the charity where your donations will go. We will provide the unique URL for your collection AND a QR Code that can be used to help drive donors to give virtually. More information is here about this option.
2. Consider hosting a virtual food drive. Different from a donation drive, our partner, YouGiveGoods, will send the foods that are donated directly to the charity you choose. See this link for information about setting up this type of virtual food drive for your group.
3. Copy everything below the picture and send out the email to your constituents allowing them to choose whether they are in the position to help tackle hunger this year by letting them find the food charity in their neighborhood to support.
Dear Friend,
This year is different for many reasons. But, one thing that is the same: the need to tackle hunger with the Souper Bowl of Caring. This year, the need for hunger relief in our country has grown exponentially. Our local food charities need our help!
Souper Bowl of Caring started their Tackle Hunger Map to respond to this urgent need. The Tackle Hunger Map allows you to see where local food charities are and what they need to do their important work. You can donate right through the map and be a part of the tradition of using the energy of the Big Game to tackle hunger.
What if everyone watching the Big Game gave just one dollar to local charities? What if each person gave what they could to local charities? We would have a lot less food insecurity in our country!
Thank you for helping make a collective impact on hunger!
