We reached the heartbreaking milestone of 500,000

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Ps. 46: 1)

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. (Matt 5:4)

Let us pray

Eternal God, the number is staggering. 500,000 plus have died from COVID.  The number is at times to hard to comprehend. 500,000 loved ones are gone from the lives of millions of people.  We lift up to you’re the pain, the grief, the heart ache we all feel when we think of the ones we have lost.

Eternal God, you are our help in every time of trouble, including a pandemic.  Send your Holy Spirit to comfort and strengthen us, that we may have hope of life eternal and trust in your goodness and mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord.  AMEN
