COVID UPDATE 

Once again, the Virus has changed and the numbers of infections continues to grow which means we need to adjust and adapt yet again…

The CDC has changed their recommendations for mask wearing. All people should wear a mask indoors especially in places where people congregate, and where it is unknown who is vaccinated AND where there are vulnerable populations such as children and older adults. The CDC also recommends continuing social distancing.

Our recommendations for worship and gathering during the pandemic has not changed. We have been recommending, since the lifting of the mandates, that sessions/congregations continue wearing masks to protect the vulnerable populations, especially children. We continue to recommend meeting online when possible or offer a hybrid option for those who cannot or don’t feel comfortable meeting in person.

Do not lose heart! We are further along than we were a year ago and over  the next months we will continue to move towards a post pandemic world.

Encourage and support all vaccination efforts! The way out of the pandemic is to create an environment where the virus cannot find a host or adapt.
