Pastors’ Retreat – Resilience in Ministry Presentation
Pastors you need to take a breath and a break
from the craziness of the Pandemic
and the beginning of the fall program year.
You are invited to take a breath and a break on
Tuesday, Sept. 14th from 9:30 am till 4 pm at Camp Johnsonburg.
RESILIENCE IN MINISTRY PRESENTATION – 9:30 to noon
Volunteers from the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance National Response Team will be on hand to lead a mini retreat for pastors. This three-hour retreat, grounded in relaxation and self-care techniques, will provide an opportunity to experience respite and learn about the three areas essential to building your resiliency. We hope this will be a time for you to reflect on how your journey has been thus far, and to consider some aspects of life that make things just a bit easier. Don’t pass up this opportunity to rest, re-focus and recharge.
TIME TO HANG OUT AND TAKE IN CREATION – noon to 4 pm
After lunch you are invited to take some time for yourself and enjoy the camp. The waterfront will be available for kayaking or other water activities. The zip-line will be available for those who feel adventurous. You can also walk the labyrinth or find a quiet place to read or work on a craft you bring along.
REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED
Make a complete day of it and stay for the Presbytery Meeting. Meeting events will begin at 4:00pm.
