On Good Friday, church and community members were invited to an outdoor labyrinth prayer walk that youth of the church designed and set-up in the parking lot. October brought a pumpkin patch in the front churchyard, and on a cold afternoon in December, 100 people drove through their Live Nativity to hear the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, and to enjoy the shivering wisemen, holy family, shepherds, angels, and (real) goat and mini horse
Bethlehem Presbyterian Church ā Pittstown, NJ
Coming to a new church at the height of the pandemic was a challenge. Yet, the Holy Spirit has been ever present in building new relationships and maintaining old relationships. Palm Sunday 2021, Bethlehem Presbyterian Church celebrated its first ever live, outdoor, radio broadcast in their parking lot. Godās presence was fully realized by all present. Our hearts and spirits were as sunny and warm as could be in spite of the rainy and cold weather. Palms were shared; the passing of the peace was extended to all by flashing car lights and honking car horns, while greetings were shared under umbrellas (and masked). It was truly a day to remember.
Clinton Presbyterian Church – Clinton, NJ
Clinton Presbyterian Church baptized 8 babies and children in the last 12 months. The baptism font moved from the sanctuary to the parking lot and back again as they welcomed these beloved children to the family of God. Rounding out 2021 was a Christmas pageant directed by the confirmation students.
